Course Overview
This programme will prepare you for an Apprenticeship in the UKs fastest growing sector, Digital Technology. Over a 14-week period, you will develop your digital skills giving you the foundation of knowledge to progress. You will also complete an industry placement which gives you the opportunity to work alongside industry professional so that you can learn from them and show them your skills and attitude to work.
Entry Requirements
There are no specific entry requirements for this course as long as you are aged between 16 and 18. You can also apply for this course if you are aged 19 and hold an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
What will I study?
From weeks 1-7 you will complete training at ITEC Learning Technologies in Basildon. You will learn life and employment skills as well as functional skills. From weeks 7-14 you will complete your industry placement with one of our many digital employers from across South Essex. You will work alongside industry professionals and gain over 200 hours of valuable work experience.
